Bamboo and Agapanthus at Adelaide Zoo

Adelaide Zoo is fantastic.  I read somewhere that it is not just a zoo, but a garden where animals live.  There are many bamboo plantings especially around the Giant Panda exhibit, and the rows of agapanthus are beautiful.

Not exactly blooms - but quite spectacular in a garden are some of these interesting bamboo plants. Once upon a time most of the bamboos would take over the garden, but these days there are some more varieties that are clumping and do not get out of control.
